A History of Magic, Witchcraft, and the Occult
This book was delightfully different than I had assumed. the book went historically from legends to modern day and touched on different religions, beliefs, and practices around the world. It talked about how Eurpoeans were the only ones really waging a war on pagen beliefs in order to convert people to christianity. I was intregued on how many religions have popped up in the last century and the idea of Neopagens.

Wilson; Daniel Clowes
This was an amusing graphic novel about a narrasist who never worked, but one day realizes maybe there is something to live for, to really live for. His father dies leaving him to wonder why he didn't have kids. He then tracks down his ex-wife who was pregnant when they divorced. she gave thei child up for adoption and he tracks down the teenage daughter. Afer kidnapping her to have a "normal" family weekend he falls in love with her. THe next scene is of him in prison for the kidnapping. He spends 6 years in Jail worried about if his dog thinks he abandoned her. Once released from prison, Winston returns to being the same person he was, but decides he needs a woman.
